"Yesterday I posted about the 7 wands & our right to be eccentric......to march to the beat of our own drum.....well, there I was in my local park, a small but pretty place, ideal for lunch time walkies with the dogs. We have a little stream & a pond, sweet. Anyway, I noticed a guy with his bright plaid hat & coat, leaping over the stream, innocently singing to himself....oh dear thought I, another nutcase (London has a tendency to produce them!) My inner teacher reminded me that Fools speak the greatest wisdom & I also remembered my 7 wands post. As I levelled with him, he ran over to me & greeted me like a long lost friend, bidding me Samahin blessings. Need less to say I was surprised, especially as he proceeded to regale me with local tales. Apparently he used to live in the area, he had moved away a long time ago & was here to remember his ancestors incumbent at Mortlake cemetery. He told me that another local area called Wormholt was once a wood & in fact the name meant Dragon wood, he told me his celtic lineage, smattered with celticisms & then he asked my name...his grandmother was also called Price, he gave me the coat of arms, the meaning of it & then called me Goddess of the Price clan as though people do that all the time....I smiled from ear to ear, what a fantastic conversation on such an auspicious day with fabulous synchronicity. So, be yourself it can be such a joy..."
